Just a little bit of info about me then....

Well I'm originally from  the town of Redditch, just south of Birmingham, and no offence to anyone who happens to be living there but spent 18 years of my life looking forward to the moment when I could leave!!

And leave I did moving down to Exmouth in Devon to train to become a primary school teacher, a plan that was going very well until the fourth year of my degree when I failed the final teaching practice.  This wasn't a great loss however as I ended up doing a much better job!!

That better job initially consisted of two years working on the Exmouth ICE team as a trainee youth and schools worker, being trained by South West Youth Ministries (SWYM).  After finishing this I went on to be employed by Ichthus Community Church as their full time youth worker, a job I'm still doing now.  On top of this I also now work as an Area Coordinator for SWYM supervising the support and training of other youth workers in the East Devon area.

Well that's the work for you... what else can I tell you!!

I'm a drummer and guitarist for a couple of different bands, both in church and with a few friends doing  various stuff from Oasis to the 50's Rock 'n' Roll.  I also do some DJ-ing work with a friends mobile disco business.  Maybe it isn't too obvious but I do love my music and we are working on material to take into the recording studio some time next year.
